Corrective Care - Phase 2

couplestretchingAt this point, you may be experiencing 50% or better decrease in your pain, but there is still work to be done. Adjustments continue to increase musculoskeletal and nervous system function while active exercises begin to lengthen what was short and strengthen what was weak. This phase is often begun with a postural/muscle imbalance and/or functional test. Treatment frequency has now dropped to 2-3 visits per week, but we are asking you to spend more time on your home exercises. This is time very well spent. The gains you make here, when maintained with proper home exercise programs, will pay off for years to come. Now that you have gained strength and confidence in your body, we next move on to stabilization care.
